The historic building which now houses Events Ondine and Horizons, on each of two floors, was built in 1898 by the San Francisco Yacht Club. Through the early 1920s, the building served as a center for gala parties, yacht races and regattas. The year 1959 marked the beginning of a new era for the building: Ondine and Trident opened, and the two internationally acclaimed restaurants soon became popular celebrity destinations. As the Trident Restaurant later revived as Horizons, Ondine also modernized into its beautiful private dining space; with the exterior still maintaining that original yacht club character.

Today, Events Ondine exists on the second floor of the historic building as a sophisticated, premier private dining venue on Sausalito’s waterfront. With its modern elegant interiors, the space still boasts unsurpassed, panoramic views of the San Francisco bay and city skyline. The cuisine focuses on creative preparation of seasonal ingredients and an extensive wine list featuring premium and rare California wines.
